Visions for AI and the Future of Personalized Medicine

By querying a previously unimaginable range of data points related to human health and disease, artificial intelligence technologies promise to help solve challenging problems in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease.

What might this mean for the future of personalized medicine?

That question will be at the heart of the Personalized Medicine Coalition’s planned conference discussion titled “Visions for AI and the Future of Personalized Medicine.”

Organized by the Chairperson of PMC’s Artificial Intelligence Working Group, Joe Franklin, Ph.D., J.D., the conversation will feature five presentations from AI-focused business leaders, each of whom will outline a vision for the future of AI and personalized medicine before taking questions from Dr. Franklin and conference attendees. The presenters will consider opportunities and challenges across the arenas of science, business, and policy.

The discussion is designed to help the conference audience of business executives, journalists, clinicians, researchers, and patients better understand what the evolution of AI might mean for the future of patient care and personalized medicine.
