1. How many years have you attended our Personalized Medicine conference?

Comments:

"The keynote speakers were terrific."

"I particularly enjoyed the case studies that were discussed on the second day (the moderaters really did a good job motivating the group to participate)."

"I was amazed and very pleased by the high caliber of speakers & topics.  I left the conference feeling like I really understand were personalized medicine stood at the current time."

"Would have liked a bit more physician perspective - they are, after all, the end users and controllers of adoption."


5. Please rate the use of the audience response system during the conference.  

Comments:

"I particularly enjoyed the "audience feedback" capabilities; it was quite a bit of fun and certainly led to some interesting discussions."

"I loved the audience response system, and it seemed to delight the audience and the speakers.  It was a first step in an intruguing new way to get fast feedack."

"I would have enjoyed it if this was used a little more frequently during the conference."

"Audience polls could be utilized better, and it would be nice if they could be dynamic (questions changed to accommodate focus of talk)."

"I think it would be interesting to ask questions of scientists and business people separately to better understand viewpoints. additionally, i think more time to could have been allocated to discussing results from the survey."


7. From your perspective, how important was it to have the following sessions/topics in the program?  How meaningful were they to you?

"Rawlins was excellent."

"Case studies were brilliant - very enjoyable and well managed."

"I often like to hear about how people learn from their mistakes, and so I found the success stories panel very interesting.  Each demonstrated ways in which companies overcame some typical hurdles."


9. Please list any highlights of the conference.

Comments:

"This is the best personalized medicine conference.  The attendees are the people you want to see.  The attraction is knowing that the content is good, speakers often superb and the audience is composed of thought leaders." 

"I think the panels are a great way explore many perspectives on key topics. Your panel participants were excellent."

"This is a great conference to meet the industry leaders and investors.  The networking opportunity is a highlight."

"The IT panel was fantastic! An IT infrastructure will be crucial to pm success in this country. It was great to hear from each of the panel speakers on this subject."

"Round table discussions - most useful and a variation from other conferences.  Provides informational content that is important as well as networking opportunity."

"The legislative discussion was fascinating."

"Talk by... Alison Ayers - great examples showing that PM works.  I made use of the data in [this] talk right away."

"The case studies were very well thought out and executed.  Hamermesh and Aspinall were terrific."


10. What topics were missing that you recommend be considered for next year?  Where else can we improve?

"More patient / consumer input not ethicists or advocates but real people."

"Where is the science going - what's working and what's not clinically/scientifically."

"More presentations on successful clinical implementation of personalized medicine."

"Panels of the two missing government agencies [FDA and CMS] since they are an integral part of Personalized Medicine."

"There are smart [IT] upstarts out there who might enrich your forum & bring new ideas as well as capabilities."
